The partnership between the Borough of Fair Lawn and the River Road Improvement Corporation (RRIC) has resulted in some welcome additions to the local streetscape – new trees! At the request of the RRIC, many trees have been planted by municipal employees along River Road and Fair Lawn Avenue. The trees will be cared for by the River Road District’s Clean & Green Team, as part of their supplemental landscaping services. The trees will add to the streetscape’s visual appeal and will provide cooling shade as they mature.
