Fair Lawn’s River Road Welcomes Advance Auto Parts
Music, prizes and giveaways from X96.3 FM, a display of custom motorcycles built by River Road’s own Tribal Iron Choppers, plus plenty of free food and refreshments provided by Rivara’s next door on Maple Avenue were highlights of the Grand Opening celebration at the Advance Auto Parts Store on River Road in Fair Lawn. Located in the new shopping plaza at the corner of Maple Avenue along with the newly opened CVS Store, Advance Auto Parts representatives and members of the store’s staff helped welcome customers from Fair Lawn and surrounding communities.

Fair Lawn Mayor Jeanne Baratta cut the ceremonial ribbon along with Deputy Mayor John Cosgrove, representatives of Advance Auto Parts, the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce (FLCC) and the River Road Improvement Corporation (RRIC). Mayor Baratta also presented a proclamation to Brent Watts, the store’s General Manager, welcoming Advance Auto Parts to the borough. In turn, members of the Advance Auto Parts team presented a donation in the form of a “big check” for $1000 to Thomas Toronto, President of Bergen County United Way.
