“There are lots great stores and restaurants in the River Road District, including several new businesses, that add to the mix of products and services to consider as holiday gifts for friends and family,” noted Bob Landzettel, president of the River Road Improvement Corporation (RRIC). “Our streetscape is festively decorated for the season, including an extensive holiday window painting program that makes it a fun and family-friendly place to visit this time of year.”
“People talk about Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, but often overlook the importance of the local business community,” added Bob Beshlian, president of the Broadway Improvement Corporation (BIC). “The owners of Broadway businesses and restaurants provide more than just convenience and a wide range of products, services and dining options. They employ many Fair Lawn residents and support the organizations and causes that are important to our community. During the holiday season and all year round, remember that the dollars you spend locally contribute back to our community in ways that online shopping and mall purchases just can’t match,” he concluded.
