Clown Helps Welcome The Spring

River Road ushered in the 2002 Spring Season with a visit by Gizmo The Clown.

Gizmo traveled up and down River Road entertaining the many Saturday shoppers throughout the River Road Improvement District; making balloon sculptures to the delight of the children and stopping in at the local businesses to give a Spring Greetings to the business owners and their customers.

Residents were pleased about the event including Airies Stasic, who attended the event with her husband and daughter. Airies, said, "My family and I recently moved to Fair Lawn and we are really happy to see that there is such interest in the business district."

This Welcome Spring Event is the first in a series of events to highlight the many retail and service opportunities throughout the River Road Shopping District.
