Gio's Deli Hosting Fundraiser for Marching Band

Wraps, grilled chicken sandwiches, vodka sauce specialties and fresh salads will be part of a special “FLHS Band” menu Friday night.

The community will have the opportunity to enjoy a special dining experience and help out the nationally ranked Fair Lawn High School Marching Band & Color Guard in the process as the Fair Lawn Friends of Music once again offerers a “dining to donate” night with popular local eatery Giovanni’s Deli.

Gio’s at Night will take place Friday, as the store re-opens from 5-8 p.m. (normal weekday hours end at 4 p.m.) to offer a selection of wraps, grilled chicken sandwiches, vodka sauce specialties and fresh salads as part of its special “FLHS Band” menu.

A portion of the proceeds will go to the award-winning instrumental music program, which includes the Marching Band & Color Guard, Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, and Jazz Band. The Marching Band & Color Guard finished eighth at the U.S. National Marching Band Championships and won the national championship in percussion. They are preparing to perform at Walt Disney World in Orlando from Feb. 10-15.
