October 8, 2009, Fair Lawn , NJ - Incredible costumes, cash prizes, gift certificates and gift cards will add to the family friendly good time, as the River Road Improvement Corporation (RRIC) presents its 7 th Annual Classic Car Show on Sunday, October 25, 2009 from 11 AM to 5 PM. The Classic Car Show is held on River Road in Fair Lawn, which is closed for the day between Fair Lawn and Berdan Avenues.

The Classic Car Show, part of the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce Street Fair, will award prizes for Best Overall, Most Awesome and A Cool Ride, plus special prizes for Best Costumed Classic Car Owner and Best Costumed Classic Car in honor of the Halloween season. The first 40 classic car arrivals will also receive a $10 gift card.

The cash prizes, gift certificates and gift cards are being provided through the generosity of the River Road District's business and commercial property owners to welcome Classic Car Show participants to Fair Lawn .

"In 2008, we introduced the costumes to the show since Halloween has become so popular with people of all ages, and the response from classic car owners, their families and friends, as well as Street Fair attendees was very positive," said Robert Landzettel, RRIC president. "We're glad that we can continue the tradition and contribute to the Fair Lawn Chamber of Commerce's event, providing an added incentive for people from Fair Lawn and beyond to visit River Road and enjoy great food, fine arts and crafts and lots of activities."
