A River Road Institution, Still Rolling Along After 45 Years!

Amber Cyclery, a name known on River Road for 45 years, has moved to its new location at 11-06 River Road - right next door to its previous location. With this exciting move also came some changes behind the scenes; Irv Kleinberg has retired from actively running the business that he started in 1960. Amber Cyclery has shown its dedication to the residents of Fair Lawn since the beginning, and that dedication to this community, which Amber has called home for so long, is shown by Irv's commitment as a founder of and active member of the River Road Improvement Corporation Board of Trustees. For Irv, it's not good-bye to Fair Lawn and River Road, as he has been asked to remain as a RRIC Trustee. Irv has always been a dynamic member of the Board of Trustees. As a member of the marketing committee, he and Amber have been huge supporters of our many special events held throughout the years along River Road, and the Board looks forward to many more years of ideas and service from Irv as he continues to serve our community.

And for all of you Fair Lawn family riders and riding enthusiasts - don't fear change, as Amber Cyclery is continuing on to serve your needs, as Ed Carter and David Westervelt have taken the helm of this establishment. Ed and Dave have a combined 40-year association with Amber and will be continuing to provide you with the service you've grown accustomed to, with personal attention when choosing the right bike and gear for safe riding and repairs done right. Amber carries Jamis, Schwinn, Raleigh, GT, Diamond Back and Bianchi bikes and quality accessories to make your two-wheeling trip fun and safe.

Amber also now offers Pride Mobility Products for those in our community that have special needs. The Pride line includes battery-operated scooters and specially equipped chairs to assist those who are physically challenged.
